Tricia Pereira

Tricia Pereira is a qualified social worker, with over 20 years’ experience with adults and children’s social care in both the statutory and voluntary sector. Since being introduced to it in 2015, she has been a keen advocate of Restorative Practice and family group conferences with adults and has developed projects utilising these approaches through her previous roles including as a Principal Social Worker, Director of Operations and Practitioner Development Lead. She is the Co-Chair of the UK Government Department of Health and Social Care Workforce Race Equalities Standards Advisory Group and is also committed to sector led improvement, focusing on cultivating compassionate and inclusive leadership. Along with restorative practice, Tricia has a passion for social justice and has been advising UP Project since 2022.
